Ben Kaufman

Co-Founder, Real Estate Broker

Ben's real estate transactions are guided by his passion and commitment to strengthening livability and sustainability of our communities. Completing $125 million in transactions with 15 years professional experience, his knowledge includes a broad range of commercial and residential real estate applications with specialties in environmentally certified properties, income producing properties including resource lands, and low impact land development.  He has an urban planning degree and commercial real estate certificate from University of Washington, two permaculture design certificates, and is currently enrolled in the CCIM Commercial Designation. He has served as President of the Northwest Eco-Building Guild, Chair of King/Snohomish County Built Green and board member of Master Builder's Association. Ben is an active Snohomish County Planning Commissioner and on the National Association of Realtor's Green Advisory Board. In his free time, Ben loves to ski and adventure in the PNW with his family and community.

Matt Cone

Co-Founder

Matt spent many years in the “Unconscious” business world, helping large banks implement online banking services. In the mid 2000’s he began a search for more meaningful work and joined the management team of Foundation Source, a provider of support services for family philanthropy. Working with many of the top philanthropic northwest families Matt developed a passion for social impact investing projects and formed KarmaVentures.org, an NGO providing educational support for schools in Nepal and Honduras. For the past few years Matt has helped organizations become Certified Benefit Corporations including the formation of Beneficial Ventures. Matt is an avid traveler and explorer of our world.

Nicole Allen

Real Estate Broker, Benefit Director

Nicole is a founding member of Beneficial Ventures working to transform the real estate industry by helping people turn the right spaces into a place where they can create, design, sell and build. Her background in health and wellness marketing and project management gives her a holistic understanding of how to communicate about what people are seeking to create in their lives. She is responsible for overseeing transactions as well as website content and Beneficial Ventures’ B-Corp status. Nicole hopes to make a difference in the industry by tying regional economic growth with philanthropy. In her free time, Nicole can be found putting on community workshops, attending community theatre, and supporting the arts.

REbecca Sayre

Real Estate Broker, GreenWorks Realty

Rebecca jumped at the opportunity to join the Beneficial Ventures team, drawn by their ethic and experience. She is dedicated to helping you sell your current home and find your dream home. With a background as a communicator and community organizer around environmental issues, she brings a passion for sustainability combined with a depth of understanding that will help you get the most value out of your LEED-certified home. Rebecca has worked for several regional non-profits including Stewardship Partners and the Seattle 2030 District and has served on the board of Washington Women for Climate Action Now and Northwest Outward Bound. In her free-time she can be found hiking, dancing, skiing, and white water rafting with her boyfriend and their two dogs.
